Member Ministry Support Teams
(Supporting
and facilitating members’ ministries in their daily life)
WORSHIP
SUPPORT TEAM: The Worship Support Team provides leadership in our
developing an intentional relationship with God through worship and praise, in
large and small services and in our individual daily lives. The team plans,
educates, motivates, and evaluates our congregational life in our upward
journey of worship of the living God. They hold us accountable to our vision
of learning to recognize and worship God in all aspects of our lives.

and attitudes in our lives. They lead us to develop a Christ likeness that holds
us accountable to demonstrate in our lives the transforming effect of an
intentional relationship with God. The team plans, organizes, trains, motivates,
and evaluates our congregational life in our inward journey of Christ
likeness through such activities as Bible study, training opportunities,
spiritual formation, caring for one another, and other appropriate events and
challenges.

MISSION
SUPPORT TEAM: The members of
United
Baptist
Church
are empowered by their passion and God given talents and work individually and
in groups to serve the local community and beyond. We recognize that we have
different God given talents and have various opportunities for continuing the
mission of Jesus Christ. Many mission activities are ongoing including making
sandwiches for the hungry, sewing pillows for heart surgery patients, and
partnering with other churches and local groups to provide needed services.
However there are also seasonal events such as the Knitting and Crochet Club’s
making of scarves, hats & mittens and our hosting of flu clinics in the
fall. The ongoing missions activities are listed below.
There are other people helping people programs and services performed on
an as needed basis. Please contact us for further information.
